Our Technique and Our Process

At Radiant Life Chiropractic, we are committed to providing you with the best chiropractic care possible. We use a variety of techniques and tools to assess and correct your spinal and joint problems, and to help you achieve optimal health and wellness.

Our Process

Our process consists of four steps:

  • Step 1: Initial Consultation. When you call us to schedule your first appointment, you will be greeted by our friendly staff who will listen to your needs and concerns, and answer any questions you may have. We will also send you some paperwork electronically for your convenience, so you can fill it out at home and save time at the office.
  • Step 2: Initial Examination. On your first visit, you will be welcomed by our staff and given a tour of our office. You will then meet with one of our chiropractors, who will conduct a thorough examination to evaluate your spinal and joint health.
      The examination will include:

    1. A patient history, where we will review your medical history, current symptoms, and health goals.
    2. A digitized posture assessment, where we will use a software called Posture Screen to measure and analyze your posture and identify any deviations or imbalances.
    3. A CLA INSiGHT scan, where we will use a state-of-the-art device to perform three tests: thermography, surface electromyography (sEMG), and heart rate variability (HRV). These tests will give us an inside look at how your body is handling stress, and how well your nervous system is functioning.
    4. A range of motion and orthopedic testing, where we will check your joint mobility and stability, and look for any signs of inflammation, injury, or degeneration.
  • Step 3: Report of Findings. On your second visit, we will go over the results of your examination and explain everything in an understandable way. We will use our model of Posture, Patterns, Parts to show you how your posture, spinal alignment, and joint function affect your overall health and well-being. We will also discuss your diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment options, and answer any questions you may have.
  • Step 4: Custom Care Plan. Based on your examination findings and health goals, we will design a custom care plan that suits your needs and preferences. Our care plan will include our 4-step system of:
    1. Cervical traction, where we will use a device to gently stretch and decompress your neck, relieving pressure on your nerves and discs, and restoring the natural curve of your spine.
    2. Wobble chair, where we will use a special chair to perform exercises that stimulate and lubricate your spinal joints, improve your flexibility and coordination, and enhance your blood flow and oxygen delivery.
    3. Chiropractic adjustments, where we will use our hands or special instruments to apply a controlled, sudden force to your spine and joints, correcting any misalignments or restrictions, and restoring your normal function and range of motion.
    4. Vibration plate therapy, where we will use a platform that vibrates at a specific frequency and amplitude, stimulating your muscles and nerves, increasing your bone density and metabolism, and accelerating your healing and recovery.

Our Technique

Our adjusting technique is all-encompassing, meaning that we don’t believe that one size fits all. We understand that different people respond to different techniques and at different times, depending on their condition and stage of care. That’s why we use a variety of techniques and methods to deliver the best possible adjustment for you.

Our analysis of what and where to adjust remains the same, but the style and technique used differs and changes based on what you need at that time. Some of the techniques we utilize are:

  • Diversified, where we use our hands to deliver a quick and precise thrust to the spine or joint, creating a popping or cracking sound as the gas leaves the joint.
  • Thompson, where we use a special table with drop pieces that lower slightly when we apply a thrust, enhancing the motion and force of the adjustment.
  • Gonstead, where we use a specific and detailed method to locate and correct the most problematic joint in your spine, using our hands or based on the thermograph tests.
  • Torque Release Technique, where we use a handheld device to deliver a gentle and specific impulse to the spine, stimulating the nervous system and releasing tension.
  • Palmer Package, where we use a combination of techniques that are taught at the Palmer College of Chiropractic, the oldest and most prestigious chiropractic school in the world.
We are confident that our technique and our process will help you achieve the best results possible, and that you will enjoy your experience at Radiant Life Chiropractic, “The Posture Doc”. If you are ready to start your journey to a radiant life, please contact us today to schedule your appointment. We look forward to serving you!
